I've been looking through the snopes website, and came across this
page of the world's ugliest dog:

For those who don't know, the snopes site is a well-known debunker or
verifier of urban legends.

Sam had a good life with the lady who adopted him. She loved him very
much--the fact that he won contests etc was really secondary to the
fact that she adored him.

Apparently she lost a boyfriend because of her hideous pet; however,
through Sam she met another man who is her current partner.

It's good that he had a loving mommy.

I can't understand why her boyfriend would break up just because the
dog wasn't beautiful on the outside. Well, at least she found a
partner who didn't care.

I agree that it's sad that Sam has passed on. I bet he's gorgeous at
the RB.

No kidding! More like, a partner who isn't a shallow creep. What kind
of loser dumps his girlfriend because he thinks her dog is ugly?? She's
well rid of him.
