Just wondering how Frank has been today?

We're all purring mightily for him.

I'm worried.

Emailed Marina a bit earlier - no response as yet.

Hi Gordon, thanks for thinking of us. Frank has, indeed, been very perky
today. It's as if he understood what the vet was saying to me yesterday
and wanted to show me he is fine. When i came ghome today, he even
jumped onto the kitchen table and inspected my grocery bags, which he
hasn't done for ages.

But it's heartbreaking how thin he is, and he might very well be
suffering and not showing me. The mere fact that he had lost 300 grams
(from 2.8 kg to 2.5 kg) since October is a pretty clear indication of
how his body is deteriorating. He is eating well, but it just doesn't
stick.

But he's showing some gumption!  That's a good sign!  The old boy has some
life in him yet!  Stick with the fluids, Marina.  I think you'll know when
it's time.

Well, perkiness is good. They aren't ready to go if they are perky. I'm glad
the sub-q's helped.

Good to hear that he's perky, which he wouldn't be were he suffering.
I've been through this (in the days before subq fluids) with Aries, so I
think of you & Frank every day, because I know just how hard saying
goodbye is going to be: 12 years on (in 17 days time) and it still hurts
like h*ll sometimes.

Just remember that you're not alone in this.

I'm so glad to hear Frank is so perky today, that is such great news. I
do hope that he also gains some weight, that would be wonderful!
Lots and lots of purrs and best wishes for Frank to continue to improve,
Polonca and Soncek

I'm glad to hear Frank is feeling a little better, Marina! I think
he'll let you know when he's ready to go.  If you're still in doubt,
it's a sign it's not yet their time.   Go Frank!

I think he's trying to tell you not to worry just yet.

We'll keep purring for Frank and for you.

I'm glad Frank's spirit hasn't dimmed. We're still purring.

All the same, his perkiness is very good news.  Purrs continue for the
little man from Mistletoe and Smokey.
