It goes in the shower with her.
We thought it was a fluke when it took its much needed bath the first night without a fuss. Turns out he thinks he's a duck.

Caliban has started supervising my showers. He sticks his head in around the shower curtain and doesn't mind getting wet. He even reaches out his paw for the shower. Maybe I should teach him to swim on the island next summer...

When I first turn on the water and am adjusting the temperature, he stands on the side of the tub near the knobs and sniffs at the water, sometimes reaching out a paw to touch it. Before I twist the knob to divert the water to the shower head he jumps into the tub with me to be sure there are no greeblings hiding under the mat. Then just as I reach for the diverter knob he hops out of the tub and climbs up one of my towels.

I don't know what it is, or why it is, but a special few cats here on rpca just touch my heart in a special way and Smokey is one of them.

Actually, Nocturne has fans too. When I hold this crucifix up toward her, that's my way of declaring my utter devotion and admiration. Honestly. We atheists don't do that for just anyone, ya know.

I've had guests call Nox everything from "the ultimate stereotype of a cat" to "hitler in a fur coat" and I'm often asked why I "keep" my megalomaniacal little tyrant.
Because I cannot cry myself to sleep without first being soothed by dark purrs and her gentle bunts.

Mark Edwards - 02 Dec 2005 02:18 GMT Little Feet: Lots of book-reading cuddle time. And yoghurt!

Buster: Snuggles, more snuggles, and Senyah's red sweater.
Hugs and Purrs, Mark

Ollie - 01 Dec 2005 17:22 GMT Tigger - Every morning I talk my daddy into putting water in the sink. He thinks I want to drink it. All I want is for the new hellikitten who has the nerve to sleep in it, to jump in without looking.
JBHajos - 01 Dec 2005 17:44 GMT Hobo: Health.
Speckles: Health
Both: No more pills, punctures, TEDs, special diets, etc, etc.
JBHajos - 02 Dec 2005 16:33 GMT > Hobo: Health. > Speckles: Health > Both: No more pills, punctures, TEDs, special diets, etc, etc. Sorry about this. It's far removed from the spirit of the thread. I was in a mood. Both cats are ailing and that was all I could think of.
However, Hobo & Speckles would wish the same for each and every kitty in the Group so they are purring for all. Cheers!!!!

Cheers!!!! I would add my own wishes for health for all kitties on the group - it's been a hard year, health-wise, for too many kitties here.

Most of mine are pretty simple: FOOD, BETTER FOOD, MORE FOOD. Oh, yeah, and some catnip, if you please.
The kittens want OUT of their space and to terrorize the other cats. ;-) They'll probably get their chance soon, once I do a round of Advantage for the other 7 cats.
Oh, yeah, and more toys. Especially feathers and fuzzy balls!
