It goes in the shower with her. We thought it was a fluke when it took its much needed bath the first night without a fuss. Turns out he thinks he's a duck. Caliban has started supervising my showers. He sticks his head in around the shower curtain and doesn't mind getting wet. He even reaches out his paw for the shower. Ranger is doing the same sort of exploring, but he stops short of actually getting wet. When I first turn on the water and am adjusting the temperature, he stands on the side of the tub near the knobs and sniffs at the water, sometimes reaching out a paw to touch it. Before I twist the knob to divert the water to the shower head he jumps into the tub with me to be sure there are no greeblings hiding under the mat. Then just as I reach for the diverter knob he hops out of the tub and climbs up one of my towels. I've had guests call Nox everything from "the ultimate stereotype of a cat" to "hitler in a fur coat" and I'm often asked why I "keep" my megalomaniacal little tyrant. It's far removed from the spirit of the thread. I was in a mood. Both cats are ailing and that was all I could think of.
