Yesterday, Speckles had another spell of vomiting.  She upchucked four
times during the day, large amounts, and when empty, puked up water.
I'd been on edge since her surgery for the hairball last month, making
sure she had enough hairball remedy to preclude any more, since the
vet advised she could never have another such operation.  This
vomiting spree, as well as apparent constipation, harked back to her
behavior before the surgery.  So it was off to the vet.

Bottom line, she has highly elevated liver enzymes, slightly higher
kidney dysfunction, dehydration, and a heart murmur of 4 on a scale of
1 to 6.   This was a stunner to me since she had checked out normal on
*everything* just weeks ago!!  However, the vet feels her main problem
is her thyroid.  Test samples were sent off to a lab and we're
expecting the results tomorrow, Wednesday.  

So, once again, I'm asking for a few extra purrs that the news will be
good, that a thyroid problem is nil or easily treatable.  Thank you
