Don't know why I was thinking of this but, about a month or so ago my mom
went to work in her flower bed thought she saw her beloved Ralphie on the
patio in quite a predicament.
Well it wasn't her Ralphie but one of his poor foes had managed to get his
head stuck in a small soup can. Probably from digging around in the
neighbours blue box for some treat.
Needless to say he's a wild kitty who's previous owners abandoned him. So,
she ended up using a stick to push the can, he caught on pretty well and
together they resolved the situation.
Just a reminder to all to wash your cans, jars, etc. and put them upside
down in the box. Saw a poor raccoon with his head caught in a Nutella bottle
not to long ago either.

Poor thing. I'm so glad they got it worked out.

Aw, poor baby. Good thing your mother was there to help him out. Good
advice, but better yet, crush your cans and put them in the recycle bin
(which, hopefully, has a lid).

That's very good advice. We had a skunk that had his head stuck in a hershey
cocoa can. What a predicament. DH had to shoot the poor thing.

When my brother was in college, he saw a skunk with its head in an
orange juice carton. He helped it, and got sprayed for his trouble.

I haven't thought of that! That's good advice. At the very least, I
will cut eye holes in the bottom of the cans so that they'll be able
to see where they're going if they get stuck anyway.

Tak, you have a really bizarre sense of humor. :)

I always crush cans before they go out, I hate the thought of any animal
getting caught like that.
