"meowma?" I've been up too early for too long. Already fed her, so apparently now it's time to go back to the big warm sleeping place and snuggle with her. 'Tap tap' and big eyes... she doesn't care what day it is, Thanksgiving or not... come back and snuggle! I'm such a slave... of course I will! And she will dream about her sweet Weebles and I will dream about my LLL, who is having an elderly friend over for dinner today... and his wife, who talks to the television. Turkey is in the oven, ham is on the grill, apples are in the other oven. Giblets and neck are doing the simmering thing, Pies are on the counter. Cranberry sauce and dips and relish stuff in the refrigerator. Salad is chilling. I'm quitting till someone cleans up my kitchen and sharpens my knife. And puts the wine and juice on ice. It is cold here with the first snow storm of the season. Canadian Thanksgiving was in early October so today is not a holiday here. Rusty's prescription food Hill's I/D has turkey in it so he is getting turkey every day. Winnie |
