I'm thankful that those who were lost are now found. I'm thankful that my
family all survived Katrina and that we're all here to celebrate
Thanksgiving this year.
Hugs,

You're getting the whole family together? That's wonderful!
I, OTOH, wanted to be alone with my hubby this year. I demanded it. I want
a nice, romantic occasion.

It's going to be me, my DH, my son, my daughter-in-law, my son's
mother-in-law, my daughter, my son-in-law, and four of my grandchildren.
The rest of my family will be giving thanks in my niece's mother-in-law's
home in Slidell, LA.
Hugs,
CatNipped

I sincerely wish you well.
But the last Thanksgiving I spent alone with my husband was in 1968. We
were in Alaska, I was homesick and I sat there and cried the whole time.
Which I'm sure he really enjoyed - not. We haven't had a Thanksgiving alone
since, for which I am most Thankful

I'm really looking forward to ours. We'll be at home alone. My family is
spread all over the U.S. so we usually spend holidays with my hubby's
mother's SO's family. It's not even his. Every time we go, we're expected
to cook the bird because my hubby does it best (on the smoker). Uh uh. Not
this year. This year it's going to be just him and me, the bird and some
side dishes. No driving 3 hours one way just to get "invited" to cook.
What a relief!

Holidays can force family together sometimes, when the family don't
want to be together
I am thankful that I have 4 invitations to Thanksgiving Dinner.
Now I just gotta find out who's cooking what, (before I decide)
hahaha
