I've been thinking of setting up a little tribute to Nikki for some time
now, and I finally took the time to learn how to do a webpage. I'm
making pages for all the cats, but they are all still under
construction. It's a very simple site. The main index is at:
http://koti.welho.com/mkurten/
It's nothing fancy, because I want to keep it very simple. Just their
stories and some pictures. And very much a work in progress. I knew how
to write html, but I surprised myself by learning how to FTP.

Nikki is doing a mixture of a Waffles & a Francis in the Nikki in a box
picture. The cat-in-a-box is very much Waffles, but the, err... position is
*so* Francis :)
On Frank's page, Waffles adores the cute pic of her sweetie with his err,
back leg striking a provocative pose ;-)

LOL The position was so unlike Nikki, too. She would usually curl up in
a prim doughnut when she slept in a box. I still remember how I was
watching TV and glanced over at the box and saw those legs sticking out,
then silently crept over to fetch my camera.

Thank you, Dan. I remember, some time ago, you very kindly offered me
space on your server, and gave me an FTP address, and I had no idea how
to use it. Well, my new ISP offers me 50 MB for my website, so I'm
hoping it won't fill up too quickly (not sure though, with all the
pictures I want to post ;o) ).

It's already a very good site, a fine tribute to Nikki. She may be gone, but
she'll never be forgotten. I love Caliban's kitten pics.

Thank you, Adrian. I wanted it to look sort of 'handmade.' Caliban's and
Miranda's pages are very much in their germinal stage.

I remember that pic of tiny Cali and his silly kitten tail, flashing
the camera! I remember we were all clamoring "Get him, Get him!"

Hehe, maybe I should have pixelated that part. Indecent exposure.

Thank you, Polonca. I'm having a hard time choosing the best pictures of
Nikki to put up. I have such a lot. IU'm trying to find a blurry kitten
pic I have of her, and I'll scan that for the page.

Thank you, Susan. Sorry to make you cry. I think this is part of my

Congrats on the new kitty page! It looks really nice. I loved the story
of Frank and Nikki meeting each other for the first time, and how he let
her "suckle" him. Very sweet.
