Ok, it sounds like a really bad spam, but if you want to send/get
holiday cards, PLEASE get me your addresses.  I only have ten people's
addresses and I personally LIKE to send out over a hundred cards.  That
means I'll receive over a hundred cards and my letter carrier is totally
under-worked and needs the extra exercise.

Not only that, but my cats love to put the feline seal of approval on
each and every card, not only sniffing it, but often rubbing their faces
on each one.  This is a lot of work even for seven cats, but they love
their jobs.  OK, I had to get cats in here somewhere.  Besides I look
forward to the foreign and domestic cards I get and the look on the post
office person's face when I walk in with a small box of cards.

BUT I can't do it without YOU!!!  So send me those addresses now.
Please, please, please, use the email address that you want me to send
the holiday list to, as it is a pain sorting through all the email
addresses to find which one you want.  I do love this job, so make it
easier on us all and GET ME YOUR ADDYS NOW!!!

Note to Nan.  You sent me your address a second time.  I tried to send
you a personal email, to let you know this, but it failed.

Pam S. glad that you REALLY want to take part of the card exchange

I thought maybe I was having a senior moment and had forgotten to do
it.

Oh. I hope I sent mine. I don't remember getting mail from Pam, but RL
has been sort of hectic lately.

You're an excellent nag, by the way. I can't imagine how, because I know you
don't practice on that perfect, precious family of yours. (ducking...)

LOL  Do you think you can convince the family that I don't nag?  They've
gotten so that they just sigh and then walk away like they're going to
do whatever I've demanded, then hide out for a while, then act like I
never said anything.  "Dishes?  You said for us to do the dishes?  Why
didn't you say something?"  We won't get into the laundry battle.

It's a wonderful idea and I hope you got my response. But Earthlink doesn't
seem to like me and booted it back. What did I do wrong?

Mine didn't get booted back,I just got a message from the spam bot at
Earthlink saying to click on a link if I wanted Pam to know I had sent
something because I was heretofore not on the 'approved' list for
receiving mail.

Rest assured, there is a folder on line that Pam can go to, now that she
knows of this problem and retrieve the errant messages.  You can go back
to the message that seems bounced and click to send her a message from
it and it will tell her there is something waiting there from you.

I got your addy, and Singh's but I'm not sure I got MMJ's.  Let me see.
I have addresses for the following people:

Baha Singh, Britta Wilson, CATherine, Kitty Schottland, Christine Burel,
Daniel Mahoney, Denise Van Dyke, Gennie Kiuchi, Helen Miles, Irulen,
Jeanne Hedge, Kalynda Burns, Lisa Loque, Liz Pauley, Lori Crews, Kim
Smith and Lucy, Marina Kurten, Mark Edwards, Mary Carns, Nan, Nancy Lee,
Pam Shirk (yes, I send me an email too), Phil, Diane, et al Hall,
Krista, Sam Nash, Shirley Holland, Kim Smith, Sherry Riddles, Andrea
Fuller, Steve Touchstone, SUQKRT, Vicky Chapman

Most of these have come in in the last few days.  I think that the card
exchange is going to be bigger and better this year.

I have to ask because I currently have lots of bouncing e-mails I
never sent, grrr, and if mine to you bounced I could easily have
missed it.

Many ISPs will do that if there has been a lot of spam detected from your
ISP (nothing to do with your specific address).  I have had this happen on
some occasions when I send email to my sister.  Wait a day or two and then
try again...you may have better success then.

And, of course it could be your address - not because of you but
because someone has lifted it and used it to send spam. I noticed last
week that I was again getting spam from my address. At least this go
round wasn't porn offerings, seems I've gone into the mortgage
business without realising it.

Yeah, I just got an email from myself advertising a porn site - I blushed at
how nasty I was!!

That kind of thing has happened to both DH (in one case, it was a
deliberate frameup) and me. We promptly alerted our ISP as soon as we
knew it was going on, and our ISP knows us well enough to know that
we're rabidly anti-spam (DH is a long-standing regular in
news.admin.net-abuse.email and I cycle in and out as patience with the
volume, S/N ratio, etc., permits), so they've always been willing to
believe us. One advantage to a local ISP. :-)

Hope you got my information. I tried to send it via my newsreader
(usually no problem) and it was bounced by your ISP (saying they
didn't accept relays). Then I tried from my email software and haven't
received any bounce messages. So I think you should have gotten it,
but I'm not positive.
