Fizz collapsed suddenly this morning after breakfast. It must have been
instantaneous. I rushed him over to the vet just to be sure, who thinks
it was probably something like a stroke, heartattack, thrown clot,
aneurysm or the like. He was only 5.
I may write more about him later. Right now I am too heartbroken.

That is so sad! And such a shock, it must seem unbelievable. That's so
young to just suddenly die like that, from no apparent cause.
This is very similar to what happened to a friend's cat a few years ago.
One minute the kitty was fine, and the next, she'd collapsed and was gone.
Her vet said the same thing - heart attack or stroke. I never realized
this happened to cats, and so young, too.
