I woke up, and there was this cat, so I stroked it. Curious, I thought, it's not Siamese. Minke appears to have a playmate! John had this experience before I moved in - it turned out the next door's kitten was lonely and inquisitive and he'd discovered a secret passage through the wall behind our stove, and he thought he was in paradise visiting with John's four or five foster kittens... Alas he brought his fleas with him... the hole in the wall had to be boarded up because the cat didn't want to take no for an answer, and if a cat can get through, so can other less desirable houseguests...
