They are *all* eating the kitten food/powdered KMR mushmix that I make for
them now. We have moved them from the utility room where they were confined
to their large carrier as I didn't want them getting behind/under the
washer/dryer, onto the enclosed back porch (with utility heater on extra low
as there's no heat back there). They are happily exploring & pouncing each
other. They have a litterbox and a dish of their mush, as well as the
carrier with a towel in it if they want to "hide" in it.
We found some fleas on them, but got most of them with the flea comb. Will
continue to go over them daily. Have Frontlined all the adult cats just to
be safe (since they're indoor only, they get it maybe 3-4 times a year,
instead of monthly)
I was back there watching them for a bit when we first put them there, and
Betty was the most timid (hard to believe, the way she screamed, hissed,
spit, scratched & bit when we first got her), but Barney & Bam-Bam were
exploring, pouncing and playing they little kitty hearts out. They finally
decided Betty had better enjoy some pouncing too, and it was totally
hilarious watching Bam-Bam try to pounce Betty while Barney tried to pounce
Bam-Bam.
On a different subject, there was a memorial service for our TED Michael
List yesterday. It was more of a celebration of his life. Very beautiful.
It was held at the Tibetan Cultural Center http://www.tibetancc.com/new/, a
place often frequented by the Dalai Lama of Tibet (whose brother is an IU
alumni).

Sounds like you've got plenty of "YA-HOOOOOOOO!" and "YEEEE-HAAAAAA!!"
in your house. ;)
