I'm worried too.  I've been watching for an update.

Thank you Karen for caring, and thank you everyone for purrs.
There is not much news. There were answers to some blood tests pretty soon.
There is nothing wrong with his kidneys (which was what TED guessed would be
the trouble). His liver is not quite that good but no worse than expected in
a 16-year old. Some other tests have not been answered yet, for example
hyperthyroid (well, what Marina's Frank has got). He has been x-rayed and no
tumours found.
He has eaten all his food and asked for more from everyone passing, but he
has also vomited again. He has been given fluid which TED said would make
him feel better quickly.
Hugo is still in hospital. TED wanted to keep him some days for observation
and more fluid and some antibiotics, to make him stronger. There is no
visiting so I have heard this on the phone. And TED is Danish and the vet
tech I have spoken to is Norwegian so I hope I got it right...
Maybe I can bring him home on Monday. I don't know if they will figure out
what is the matter. He will probably have to switch to diet food in the
future.
Continued purrs appreciated.

You must miss him a lot. How awful that they don't allow visiting. Maybe
it's an allergy then? It doesn't sound like hyperthyroidism to me. Frank
didn' vomit, he just ate a lot yet lost a lot of weight. At least it's a
relief thast the x-ray didn't show anything. We are stil purring for
Hugo and for you.
