MamaKat had 3 kittens - they are about 3-4 weeks old. They are now on our
utility room, in a large carrier.
On original inspection (done at 10pm last night, in poor lighting) they
appeared as 3 girls. One of them is all black, except for a small stripe of
white on her belly (right where her last set of nipples is) - the same as
Weeble - and also a tiny patch of white in her right armpit - again the same
as Weeble - she's a Weebling... or should I say Weeblette!!!! DH has named
her Wilma. She's a hissy, growly, spitty thing - and she bit me (didn't
break the skin, but sure as 7734* hurt).
One is white with grey stripeys on her face (like Minnie), and a smattering
of grey stripey spots on her mostly white body, and grey stripey tail, with
the tip of it being very white. This one we called Pebbles (staying with
the Flintstone's themed names)
Third is almost all white, except for a splash of grey stripeys on it's head
(like Ernie) and another splotch on it's head that goes down that same side
of her face and onto her nose, and a grey stripey tail. This one is Betty.
At this morning's feeding, it seems that Betty and Pebbles should really be
Fred & Barney (or Bab-Bam)!!!
And Weeble is pissed at me because I smell like bitties (he hates bitties).
I have absolutely no clue yet as to what we're going to do with these
bitties - but Jeff is insisting that we keep the one formerly known as
Pebbles, as when we approached them, where MamaKat seemingly had abandoned
them - hadn't seen her near them for 12+ hours - this one came charging out
meowing as if to say "About time Mom - I'm *starving*" - but then stopped
short when he noticed that we weren't Mom! And he was starving too - was
the only one to eat the baby food we had in the cabinet. Betty ate this
morning, and Wilma (still hissing and spitting) drank some formula, but
won't take food.

One of these days you're gonna have to make up your mind to catch that
mamacat, somehow, and get her spayed. Until then, she will keep feeding your
KFF (kitten fever frenzy). Why did she choose YOUR place to deposit her
babies, so many times? She wants to stop, and she wants your help, and she
knows you can't resist. And they sound utterly adorable. Pics???

I have an email to local animal control, to see if we can borrow one of
their good traps, and then we will have her TNR'd (along with any others
that get trapped), but since this is a holiday, they're closed today anyway
:(
If she *really* wanted to stop having bitties, she wouldn't keep *escaping*
from our trap!

Baby Kitties!!! Baby Kitties!!!! I love Baby Kitties!!! They are
soooo cute. It's so hard to be "tough" and not bring them in, isn't
it? They are all so cute!

Oh, dear! They are the perfect age for KF!! What are they, about
4 weeks in these pics? Just starting to look like miniature cats at
that age. (I'm sorry, but prior to that, they look like little rats
to me - cute little rats, nobody said little rats weren't cute -
but they don't look like cats until they get pointy ears!)
I love the name "The Weeblette" - she looks a lot like Weebs at
that age. How can he not like bitties, he WAS one not so long ago!
No wonder you can't stop!! :)

They're soo cute! No wonder you have to take them all in. I hope
something can be done about that wily momcat, or you'll be overrun.

Wow. I am STUNNED. I'm glad you got them out of the chilly, though--
doesn't Mama know it's LATE to be having kittens?
