She saw the vet this morning, and it turns out that part of the problem
last night was probably a bout of colic from the fact that she was
wormed this week.
She has different antibiotics and has also been sent homw with some pain
killers to keep her comfortable. She's obviously feeling a bit better
because she started playing with the vets finger.
Will keep you updated.

Phew, that's a relief!
Needless to say the supportive purring for her full recovery will continue
chez nous. We look forward to news of more progress soon.
Best wishes

I'm glad she's feeling better, I was really worried when I read your first
post. Purrs for Miss Whiskers to feel better soon and have a long and happy
life.

Please, give that baby a kiss and a scritch from me. It's hard for me to
read about her without getting very upset.

What wonderful news!! I checked out RPCA first thing this morning
and it made my day. In more ways than one. Later I realized "Oh,
yeah, today's my birthday - and good news of Miss Whiskers was my
first and best present!!!" An abundance of purrs continues for her
steady improvement and rapid recovery. Scritches for the little
darlin'. I know you and your family are feeling much relieved as
well.

>Happy Birthday Jeanne! Mine was Wednesday!
Thank you - all of you - for the "happy birthday." Good news about
the Lily kitty from far, far away set the tone for the day here, and
it was a very pleasant time.
Hope all of my fellow Scorpios have had/will have an equally happy
celebration. (My daughter's birthday is Monday, 7 November, another
Scorpio in the family). Best wishes to all of you on your special
day.

I missed all this trauma as I was in bed when you first posted and at work
today. I don't switch the computer on in the morning if it's a work day. It
makes me late if I do!
I've read the updates now and I'm glad it seems like it's non-life
threatening. Burned feet, eh, and a gash on the back and the end of her
tail missing.
No wonder she's in pain, poor little bittie.
Rest assured that this/these bstrds who did this to her will pay in some
way. I'm a firm believer in "you reap what you sow." They are not dead yet.
Meaning there is plenty of time for bad things to happen to them, and they
will.

That is so wonderful, Helen! We'll keep the purrs coming until the little
baby is all better.
First thing I did this morning (well, almost first thing, right after I
fed the gang) was to check for an update. My whole day has been a lot
better thanks to this wonderful news!
