Alright y'all...bring on the hilarious anecdotes, the jokes and puns,
anything funny at all! I can take it! And no BW is needed.
Because I am the proud owner of a new keyboard. It's rubber and can
be used under water. Take a look:

Yes, finally an RPCA proof keyboard :-)

Yes, but is it Vino proof?

What the ...?
It looks a bit like a comfortable cat bed with built in
back-scratching/massager surface to me.

Yes, well if it turns into a cat bed, it'll have to go. Late last
night I got myself in deep kaka when I rolled up the keyboard just to
see how small it would roll. BAD idea when the keyboard is plugged in
and the computer is on! Some key combination got pressed and suddenly
my whole screen display on the monitor rotated 90 degrees. I tried
everything but got a kink in my neck from turning my head to see.
Finally I lay the monitor on it's side. That worked better.
Ended up finding a menu in control panel for my video card and changed
it back. But for some strange reason all the writing (except numbers)
on that menu have changed into nothing but question marks. The only
way I was able to figure it out was because I saw the numbers 90, 180
and 270, so I played with that.
The orientation is back to normal now but that Intel GMA driver window
is still unreadable :-(
So I definitely don't want Vino sleeping on my keyboard!!!

That's terrible! I'm glad to hear you were able to change the settings
to the way they were before (at least most of them).
Best wishes,

Under water? Wouldn't you need an under water computer first? :)
Nifty little gadget!

But not cat proof I imagine. I think my two could shred that in no time!

Vino doesn't shred stuff. I'm mostly afraid he'll lie on it and press
buttons. But he hasn't so far.

Very very slick keyboard! Now, Chester might have some kind of a problem
with that - he loves to chew rubber :-(

Now all you need is a rubber monitor. ;-)

Neat! Can you roll it up and carry it in your purse, too?
Quite a few years ago, on a Star Trek episode, Captain
Picard had a piano keyboard that he spread out on a table to
play. At the time I thought it was a marvellous idea. Now,
lo and behold, I see them offered for sale in a number of
catalogs, complete with carrying case! For a picture of
one, see http://www.harrietcarter.com/Detail.cfm?prod=5774&udc=Y

LOL Aren't you going to miss the clackety-clack-clack of the keys?
