I'd think that having lived with Speckles for 12 of her 15 years I'd
know every feature and hair on her body.  I *thought* I knew what she
looked like!  She's recovering nicely from her surgery, has her ups
and downs but is doing well.  Hair is slowly growing back from the
shaving on her leg and tummy.  Lately, while watching her, I felt
something looked *different* about her but couldn't put my finger on
it.  She's still Speckles but *something* was odd.  Finally, it sifted
through my dense brain that she no longer has her drooping udder look.
How could I miss *that*??  The surgery tightened her loose stomach
skin.  My gal no longer walks with her sagging tummy flapping in the
breeze.  It was so much a part of Speckles it was taken for granted.
It seems vaguely strange now....almost like an entirely different
kitty, appearance-wise.  But she's still my Sweetie!!!

LOL! She had a tummy tuck! And for what? A hairball! Glad to hear she is
doing so well. Purrs for her continued recovery.
