Again, there is a new box in the house, and there is quite a Laurel
and Hardy scene going on around it.  Or maybe more like the Three
Stooges-- it's amazing how much like the Three Stooges two cats can
be!

Tyche's sulking because DP came home last weekend (he's on medical
clerkship in New brunswick for 6 weeks) and threw out the box that
contained the Transformer I got for my birthday in September.  The box
was mostly flat on account of Kumani sitting on it when Tyche was in
it....but still, Tyche misses her "house" and is now looking for new
boxes to attempt to stuff herself into.

She tried a kleenex box the other day and it was sad, watching her make
digging motions with her paws trying to make the box big enough to fit
a 12 pound kittie.

Aww, I miss my box fiend! Nikki's eyes would get big and round and light
up when she saw me bringing in a new box. Miranda and Caliban like boxes
all right, but they're not as mad about them as Nikki was.

Box kitties sound like a lot of fun.  I keep cardboard boxes around,
but the last time Betty was in one was when she was brought home from
the shelter in a cardboard carrier.  She probably thinks that
cardboard boxes are a type of gateway back to the shelter.

The only time Betty is happy to see a cardboard box is when I've
brought home a rodent, which happens very rarely.  But the interesting
sounds and smells from a rodent box!  If you had brought home such a
box to Nikki, it would have been pandemonium.

Well, of course that must be fascinating!  I remember the first time
Stinky and Mimi found a deceased rodent in the basement.  It smelled
like pure hell, but they were riveted.  I could hardly get it away
from them.  It was like Champagne and chocolates for cats. :D
