It was the first cold night of the season, and we had a full house in
bed. I think at some point in time, all 7 cats were in bed with us. Or
at least it seemed that way, I couldn't move at all! :)
I love cold weather.

Cold weather is when I find out that twelve is too many cats.  During
the summer, it's too few: there are many nights with *no* cats in bed
with me, and even a lap cat is hard to find during the evening.  When
the weather turns cooler, It's hard to find room for me in the bed,
and even stinky Millie (bad breath, farts often) wants to nestle
against my face or crawl under the covers.  Sometimes there are too
many lap cats: I have to move at least one just to sit down - not just
move the cat, but pick the sticky seeds off the chair before I can sit
down, and try to do all that before that or another cat is back in the
chair.  Sometimes there are dominance issues when two or more want to
be lap cats at the same time.

It's also when I find out which are the best cats: best lap cats
(Fleagor and CJ), best bed cats (Spooky, Snowball, Fluffy, Tigger),
best hunters (Dandy, Avery, Mudpie, Snowball), and prettiest cats
(Ozy, Maryweather, Snowball, Fleagor, Fluffy). And poor Millie, worst
in every category.

Yes, poor Millie!  Crazy big crew of lap cats you have!
