I don't know what's gotten into her!

Persia has been bugging me ALL day and into the night.  She hasn't even
paused for her usual naps.  She's fussing, wanting attention.  Getting the
zoomies.  Looking out the windows and meowing.  She's even avoided her
normal spot in the closet where the comforter is (and she usually disappears
there for a couple of hours at least).  She's batting at me, pawing at me
for attention.  She's been in my lap while I'm on the PC at least four times
today, and on my stomach when I was reading a book.  She can't seem to sit
still, though.

Her appetite is normal; she's using the litterbox just fine.  It's not like
she's ill, she's just *manic* today.  I gave her a tiny bit of milk a while
ago and the ring from the top of the jug to play with.  She drank the milk
and then batted the ring around in the kitchen for a bit.  Now she's back to
pawing at me and fussing.  It's like she's trying to tell me something.

I don't know what is going on.  I've never seen her like this before.  I
sure hope she settles down before we go to sleep.

I think a vet visit is probably in order. It's probably nothing and
that's my hope. But *something* is bothering her or is wrong.

That's exactly what I was thinking! It's probably nothing, but it would
sure be comforting to have the vet take a look and pronounce her ok.

You're not in the way of one of those hurricanes are you? Or some other
natural disaster? Or just some other weather change or air pressure
drop? I've understood that animals can sense these things. Don't know
for sure as we don't get any such wild weather phenomenons, thank God!

I'm not in the path of a hurricane, no.  I do live on a major earthquake
fault (the New Madrid) and there hasn't been a big quake along it since 1976
(we're due).  But the temperatures did drop drastically; I piled up some
logs and lit a fire in the fireplace yesterday.  Maybe that was it.  She's
back to normal today!

Stinky always gets perky at certain changes in the weather, especially
cool days after hot ones.  Today the two of them are bouncing around--
very busy.

Rita's been the same way lately.  I think it's the change of weather
or something.
