Tonight when my hubby and I went out to dinner, we saw 2 little orange and
white kits, about 4 to 6 mos of age, looking for food in the dumpster there.
I tried to get close to them, but they wouldn't let me get any closer than
about 20 feet away. I told the restaurant owners about them, and asked if I
could get someone to trap them, and they agreed. I left the kits some
biscuits - that is all we had. :( Now, to find someone to trap them and
foster them! I have called everyone I can think of and put notices on the
cat lists online. Tomorrow I will see if I can contact a couple other
rescuers that I have heard about. It was heartbreaking to leave them out
there, but I didn't want to take the chance that we would spook them into
the heavily traveled road nearby. There are places that they can get out of
the wind and rain, but still..... :(
Wish me luck at finding someone who can get these babies!

Good luck! I hope they are trapped easily, socialized well, and find
great new owners, I mean, slaves.

Not being funny Patti, but have you thought about borrowing a trap and
getting them yourself? Most rescue/feral organisations are so up to
their neck in work that these guys will be put on a list somewhere -
sometimes a very long one, before they are dealt with. I say that as
someone who works trapping ferals.
Regardless of who does the trapping eventually, thank you for noticing
them!
