::sigh:: I had to turn the furnace on today. It must be getting close to
winter! Lily has never seen me go down to the basement, so when she noticed
I had gone behind a closed door and was clumping down the stairs noisily,
she started to yoooowwwllll! Poor baby, I turned the furnace on quickly,
made sure everything was running ok and ran upstairs to my poor crying
kitty-baby. I tell you, she sure was happy to see me emerge unharmed from
the dark downstairs. :)

I had to turn mine on too - just a matter of sliding a switch on the
programmable thermostat (electric heat). I think the cats approve.
It's about 50 degrees F outside, and there are already five cats on
the bed before 8:00 PM - at least nine of the twelve are inside.

I've had mine on in the morning and evening for several weeks. MLB

I had to turn mine on, too. It seems they're still running the AC
at work so I've been chilled to the bone all week. Tonight my
thermostat said 67 and I was like, brrrrrr. Time to turn on the
heat, even for a few extra degrees.
