Guess that whole "no sox" thing didn't turn out too well, eh?
Sorry 'bout your team.
If it is any consolation, DH and I are 100% CUBS fans. Watching the Sox
win it all was pretty much a nightmare.
Oh well...spring training starts in just over 4 months. There's always
next year!

Yeah, I'm with you there. The only thing worse would be if the Cards
were in the WS vs the Sox! (but the 'stros took care of that for us)

Yeah, I just wish they hadn't lost it so quickly - they could at least have
strung it out for 6 or 7 games and let us hope a little longer! ;>

The only reason I'm glad the Sox won it in Houston is because they would
hvae been playing here on the weekend...and that would just be begging
for a riot and some looting! Fortunately, our city stayed under control
last night.
Being a cubs fan in the city of the white sox sucks,

Yes, I would have liked to see it stretch out longer. It would have been
nice if the Astros could have won at least one game.

I hate to admit this, believe me, but I just don't think the Astros were
a match for the Sox. Yeah, the games were close, but NOTHING was going
to stop the Sox.
Ugh.

Heh. I wish you guys had made it to the series. The Cards are the one
team I would have enjoyed seeing the Sox smash!!!! ;-)

rough couple of years for you Cards fans, eh? ;)
of course, the only appropriate response from a Cards fan to a Cubs fan
at this point in time would be to chant: 1908, 1908, 1908
maybe we'll reverse the curse on it's 100th anniversary. :::sigh:::
