For sharing your photos, your anecdotes and just generally for being *you*
:)  You folks really do manage to brighten a gloomy day!

Aww.  When I got back from Corfu I noticed that some of the undesirable
elements seem to have gone quiet, did I miss something?

(whispering) We are more than happy they have all gone back to school... or
to haunt that other ng, or wherever they came from.

Right now I have a green-eyed cat named Persia staring at me and purring
very loudly :)  I think she expects me to do something.  Hmmm, I've no idea
what I'm supposed to do.  I'm just a stupid hoomin.  She has food.  She has
water (her own fountain, even!).  She has toys all over the place.  I feel
her eyes boring holes in my back.

If all else is covered, it must be "get of that d*mn 'puterthingie and
pay
some attention to MEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

When he's been neglected for a while as I'm on my laptop, young Claudius
has the habit of taking a flying leap into my lap from quite a distance
and
smurgling around, purring the while. Quite sweet, only he has to use his
sharp little claws to brake etc. after his jump and my thighs now
resemble
a pincushion!

No matter where he is in the house, the minute the puter goes on, he's
by my feet miaowing (well squeaking he can't miaow since he had his
thyroid removed), for attention.  If he doesn't get it, he sits between
the keyboard and the monitor and head butts me, and when I give in and
switch off the puter, he goes back to wherever he was before, grrr.

just moved and i don't know anyone yet, so it was great to 'meet' you lot
