I came home yesterday, and saw Little Feet and Dulce Mae. I didn't see
Buster.
Figuring he was outside, I looked out both front and back doors, and
called his name. No response, which is normal - occasionally he stays
outside all night, or comes in at the last minute before I go to bed.
Senyah asks me, "Is Buster still inside?"
Huh? He's inside?
Senyah says the last time she saw him, he was on the bed by my pillow.
I look at the bed, and there is no bed lump. Weird.
So I prepare to lie down and read for awhile. As I start to fluff my
pillow, I realise it has a lot more mass than usual. Buster is asleep
INSIDE the pillow case!
Okay, no problem, but it's my turn to use the pillow. I bring him out
of the pillow case, cuddle him, and we lie down together. Sort of.
Buster starts nosing against my neck, and is being particularly
forceful about it. It is becoming obvious that he want to get under
the pillow - even while I am using it.
I spent all that night with a double pillow - buster underneath the
pillow, with occasional headbutts to my hand, to be petted, and a few
deep purrs to let me know he really was enjoying the closeness.
Sometimes cats are so weird...

Awwwww, that's a great story. My Chloe likes to try that, too, but when she
feels my weight she's outta there as fast as she can be. LOL

This same thing happened here today, except it was Caliban under the
pillow and Frank on the pillow. Caliban seemed quite happy under there.
