While organizing stuff at the Humane Association the other week (as in
deciding what stuff to be taken and sold/given away at the 10th Annual Walk
for the Animals, a doggie-oriented walk-a-thon/fair) we came across a stack
of recipe books. They were printed in 1991, specifically for the local
Humane Association. They are all vegetarian recipes (not vegan, as I see
dairy products, eggs & stuff like that listed in some of them). If
interested, I can send a copy your way along with Weeb's Kiss-a-mouse
pressie for Persia (once he' decided what he's sending her).

Hi Nancy Lee,
For a donation can a vegetarian cook book be had by other RPCAer's? My
younger daughter is a vegetarian, not a vegan, and I'm sure is ready for a
new cookbook.

I'll see if they still have any - there were about 10 or so when we were
sorting, but I don't know what happened to them after I got the one I have
now.

It is waaaay too early to be thinking about Kiss-a-mouse! Persia would be
happy with just a new photo of her Preshus Weebs, via email. I'll take a
copy of the recipe book if you just insist :)
I made a big pot of vegetable noodle soup - no chicken but not vegetarian as
I used chicken stock; could have been vegetarian if I'd used vegetable
stock. Very tasty!
