Ever since I switched Oscar from free-fed dry kibble to twice-a-day
gooshy food, she's been ... less than enthusiastic about her meals.
This was about a year ago.  It hasn't been unusual at all to see food
still sitting there when it's time for her next meal; she also seemed
to refuse to eat the food unless it had been sitting for an hour or
two already.  She dropped weight (good) to the point where I have made
a habit of feeling for backbone every day (bad).  I praise her when
she starts to eat.

Until a few weeks ago.  Suddenly she's polishing off her meals like a
champ.  Not only that, after she's done, she's meowing at me for more.
She's definitely gaining weight; her back feels pretty healthy, no
longer slightly bony.

So, I wonder, is this something I should worry about?  Is it maybe a
response to the change in weather?  There have been a couple of fairly
cold days, but mostly it's gradually tapering down to cooler temps.

Maybe she's finally coming around to liking the food?

SUgar is real on again off again. I guess it's not a bad idea to get a blood
panel just to be safe and if all is ok, it's good to have as a comparison
for anything at a future date.
