You've all seen pictures of Bandit on her pile of pillows on my bed. Well,
every night we have this little ritual. When I'm removing the (decorative)
pillows from the bed, I wait to move hers last and then I put another pillow
in front of her stack of two pillows so she can step down without having to
jump.
Now we both know good and well that she jumps down from there and then up
again several times a day to go potty and to eat, but at night she won't
move her body an inch until I've put her "stepping pillow" in front of her
so she can delicately step down.
She makes a great act of how painful it is to move her feeble old body off
of her favorite sleeping spot and how I'm so inconveniencing her by
insisting on sleeping on my own bed! You'd be very fooled until she then
*races* across the bed to vigorously slap Demi around for having the nerve
to jump up on *her* bed!
Hugs,

Heh. She has you measured as a slave all right! What would happen if you
didn't put the stepping pillow there?
