We've been having a king of the mountain / top cat contest around here
this week. Not that they're fighting or anything, it's just that Sammy
is NOT HAPPY when Spotty climbs to the top bottom of the cat tree.
Whenever she spots Spot heading for the cat tree the race is on and
they both try to be the first to rech the top. If Spot does happen to
make it to the top first, Sammy relentlesssly bats and pulls her tail
until Spot jumps down. Course LB can't be bothered with these games.
she occassionaly climbs to the bottom platform, but mainly just uses
the bottom of the post as a scratch post. when I first bougth the
thing I temped her up to the top by leaving treats up there, but when
I stopped putting out the treats she lost interest.
