As part of my fight against ringworm (and I seem to have won that fight
- there have been no more outbreaks on any of the cats or on myself), I
washed all the woolly blankets I have here and there for the cats to
sleep on. Miranda was not at all pleased with this. When I put back one
clean blankie on the bed, she attacked it, bunny-kicked it and bit it
into submission. Several times, and regardless of whether I was under
the blanket or not.

Then there's another blanket. I've used it to line the Sherpa bag in
cold weather, but now that it's still fairly warm, I've had it on a
chair. Miranda is not at all pleased with this, either. Every day, she
takes that blankie, pulls it off the chair, and drags it into the shower
cubicle. I put it back in the chair, later I find it in the shower
cubicle again. She looks hilarious as she drags the blankie, head held
high and walking broad-legged, like a leopard dragging a deer.

It seems the Princess has very specific ideas about interior decoration.

Now  that I've stopped laughing at the vision of Mirmir dragging her
woolly "prey" into the shower stall, I say "We Need PICTURES OF THIS!"
LOL

What a sensible cat she is. Either she knows instinctively that
blankets simply BELONG in the shower stall, or else she's concluded
that that's how her meowmy must have washed the blankets, and she's
trying to help you. =o)

I've tried to get a picture of it, but this place is so crowded, it's
hard to get a good angle.

Don't all teenage girls think they should redecorate the house
single-handed?

There is that, of course. Naturally, her taste is vastly superior to mine.

It sounds like she's very strong, too.

Aw, you washed off all her scent from the blankie on the bed. As for
the other, I wonder if it has a smell she doesn't like and thinks it
ought to be cleaned again. She sounds like such a joy to you. I am
happy to hear the ringworm is cleared up.
