The dream

Hi all:

Otis was allowed upstairs last night to sleep because he'd been so good the
night before ... after spending the *previous* night sulking in the
basement.

Two good nights in a row was too much to hope for.  After he got up and
raced around at 4 AM, he *finally* settled down again.  I was lying on my
side spooning him - both arms wrapped around him as he purred and calmed
down.

I immediately fell into a weird dream.  In the dream, I had a camel that was
in the back of a large flat bed truck with wooden fences around the side
(can't remember the farmer's term for those things).  There was a man who
was very interested in buying him and kept trying to get my camel's
attention.  In the dream, if the man wanted to buy him I had to sell the
camel to him for some reason.  I didn't like the man.  So, I was trying to
divert the camel by using a huge thick rope like a cat toy.  Throwing it
onto the railings in the truck and making it squirm like a snake.

So, I threw the rope with one great heave, and then yanked as hard as I
could with both arms.

Otis squirted out of my arms like a watermelon seed and made tracks all over
the side of my neck.

Whoops.
