We've had her for years. She was such a loyal cat to the family and she
loved me. She used to come up on my bed and purr and lick my face. I
loved her dearly and she will be missed.

Oh I'm so sorry! That must be so hard. I'll have a hard time when I lose
my Persia.
Persia licks me, which I thought was a dog trait until I was *owned* by a
cat. She grooms me with her little sandpaper tongue, then gently bites me
(not hard) just to say, "You're MY human."
She does treat me like I'm her mom, or what I would think of as her mom.
She defers to me, which is quite odd (I'm told) for a cat. I can tell her
"no" and she listens. I can call her and she comes to me. She's everything
I was told a cat would not be. She's not aloof. She's not 'cold'. She
doesn't shun my company. Sure, she's demanding but when she can't go
outside in her enclosure she doesn't fuss and whine. She snuggles up with
me, instead. Sure, she needs her time alone... she has a little 'nest' in
the closet. I let her have that time but she doesn't stay there for long.
She has to be with me. I love it! I hope to be able to love it for many
years to come. We (the vet and I) think Persia is 6 years old.
