Someone sent me this link. It's a tiny, tiny kitten that someone is
hand-raising. It can't be more than a day or two old! The photos are
really good.

so TINY! I see on down the thread that he was found still bloody with
the cord attached, so he must have been newborn. Purrs for the little
guy to do well and live a long, long happy life

They can't be more than a day old. We hand-raised four that still had their
umbilical cords, and I don't even remember them looking like that! The good
news is, baby kittens are amazingly resilient. We were completely stupid about
raising these, and they all four survived and got homes through the PetSmart
adoptions. I still wonder about them, and it was years ago.
Domino, Angel, Callie and Purrcy--good luck wherever you are!!

She may well be in Sweden because the language that isn't English on that
site is Swedish.
Big old black Swedish Hugo Katt purrs a bit extra for the tiny teeny little
black maybe Swedish baby.

Sad news -- I checked the blog to see how the teeny little guy was
doing, and he's gone to the RB. :( But at least he had someone to love
and care for him in his FAR-too-brief life. And a bunch of people and
kitties to send out prayers and purrs for his well-being.

Still, :o(. Purrs for the lady who was trying to hand-raise him, and
her family (especially her little girl who's taking the loss hard).

Donna and Harmony, wishing every cat could have nine, long, healthy
lives in a OneTrueHome where they're doted on, as is their due

Awwwww. I wondered. It is so difficult when they are that tiny. Purrs.

Oh no.  So sad.  Poor little mite.  Purrs to the kind lady who tried.

Oh, that's really sad! I hadn't checked back recently, so I didn't know
this. I've heard it can be very hard for a newborn to survive under these
conditions, so I'm sure the baby's human mother did the best she could.
I'm really sorry for her little daughter - something about losing a pet,
even one they didn't have very long - can feel so traumatic to a child.

How sad, purrs for the family who tried to help.
