For a long time, my lap was Buster's domain. When I sat down at the
computer, Buster and his sharp and pointy claws were in my lap. We
don't talk about the myriad scars in sensitive places (grin).
Then, for a long time, Buster stopped sitting in my lap, and started
cuddling under blankets on the bed - I started calling him The
Incredible Mister Lump.
To take up the slack, Little Feet started cuddling in my lap. He is
gentler, to say the least. If I get up too soon, Little Feet sits on
the shredder next to the desk, and stares at me and the chair, telling
me he wasn't finished being a lap cat yet.
In the past couple of days, however, Buster has started trying to
reclaim my lap. Little Feet stays, and Buster tries to find a spot as
well.
So now I have a slightly irritated (tail-flicking) Little Feet, and a
pushy Buster. I have new claw marks and a numb leg and hip. Buster is
trying to sit on Little Feet, while Little Feet is trying to push
Buster back a few centimeters.
If Dulce Mae starts in, I am in SERIOUS trouble...

Mark,
You don't know how good you have it.........
Every time I turn on my computer, here comes our 2 yr. old curly
headed dimple faced little grandson at full steam, climbing into my
lap, kicking things over, touching monitor screen, jamming keyboard
keys.......
Nothing is safe. The kid is on fire.
One thing for sure though, our cat's have all of their claws, and the
baby has received enough spankings from them that he give's them the
respect they deserve.
