I spoke to Stinky's vet this morning because his bloodwork was back.
He is slightly anemic, and has a "slightly" elevated white count.  I
am going back there later to pick up the antibiotic-- then I have to
bring him back for another blood test in three weeks.

He is still very grumpy, poor angel.  The fleas are dropping off the
cats from the Frontline, and I am sweeping up tiny corpses everywhere.
Yuck.

But he slept with me last night for the first time in two weeks.  I
almost never went to sleep myself, I just stayed awake for a long
time, petting and skritching him and telling him how much I love him.

This morning, we had a nice brushing, and he went all gooey.  But he
is back at the window again, in "I vant to be alone" mode.

Dante, the little dingaling, is obliviously chasing a bottle cap all
over the hardwood floor. ;)

Make Levees, Not War

Well, no wonder he is out of sorts. I think he will rebound quickly.

Delighted nothing serious was found. Purrs that he's
back to his old self soon.

Snowball (aged two and a half) has been acting exactly
like a grumpy old codger since Claudius Hoolikitten
arrived, still lots of hisspitting at "junior" when he gets
too close or obstreperous, and tons of wails of protest
aimed in my direction. But frequent brushings, strokings
etc. do seem to be keeping him from leaving home at
least.

I think the calm day or two after C's "big snip" might
see some improvement. Same could go for Stinky
as he gloats over Dante's discomfiture :-)

Best wishes

So glad you had a good night with Stinky. I'm happy that Frank has been
sleeping in his usual spot on the pillow next to mine. Last time he was
out of sorts, he mostly slept under the bed, so I'm thinking he's not
feeling as bad now as he was then.

And glad that his bloodwork didn't show anything alarming. Purrs for him
to feel 100% again soon, and start teaching the brat some manners.
