Hmmmph! I'm desperate to see the pictures and I can't see them either :-(

Either that or make sure you're looking at the public view before
copying the URL.

Not for me. As long as I'm looking at the updated public view the URL
will work. But the message I get on Wayne's page is "Due to high
volume of page requests this Webshpt page is not avaialble just now".

Okay. I think I may have it right now. I had set the public
view on both albums, but apparently that isn't the problem.
It's linking from my Webshots desktop that doesn't work. I
thought if the links worked for me after I left the site and
even closed my browser, they must be all right, but I guess
there's a cookie that lets me in to an editable view not
available to others.
If I go to my Webshots homepage and link to the albums from
there, I get different links. So lets see if these work:
Will and Heidi's pics are here:

The album of former kitties is here:

Please let me know if you still can't get to them.

Great pictures, thanks for sharing, I see what you mean about Zubie, he does
remind me of Jazz.

Now they work fine. Will and Heidi are both gorgeous cats, and the
kitten pics of Flicka and Zubie are precious! I suppose you know that
Flicka means girl in Swedish? But where does the name Zubie come from?
And it's always nice to be able to put a face to a name. :o)

Zubie was named after Zubin Mehta, because she was a tuxie. My
parents love that classic picture of Mehta with all the
penguins. Then, to keep in theme, more or less, we named Flicka
after Frederica von Stade.

You've cracked it!
Lovely kitties one and all. Despite different colouring Heidi's
face is SO similar to my beloved Pericles' (RB in February).
Must be a lot (or all) Maine Coon?

She's a rescue, so we don't really know her antecedents. She
certainly has some of the Maine Coon look. Also, she continued
growing after she came to us, even though the vet estimated that
she was about 2.5 years old. I've been told that is a Maine
Coon trait.

That picture of Happy looks like he must have had some Maine
Coon in him, too. A lot of the barn cats I grew up among had
that look. (We didn't know anything of the breed back then,
even though we lived in Maine.)

Yup, they can grow until about 4 yo.

That pic is over 40 years old now and he was 17+, I don't think Maines
had come
to England in the late 1940's. We were told he was a longhaired tabby
persian
mix - Persians have sure been distorted since then if that's so (I know
Siamese
have been bred a LOT longer in the nose/face over the years).
