Oh dear   I wish they would stay young forever    Sugar is going back in
a few minutes too. Purrs to Frank and his poor meowmie.

Hobbes, Selena, Lacey, Sam and Barnabus are sending purrs and gentle

Sugar has just been having lots of little problems. Her knees are
arthritic, and she seems to have allergies. So we are trying cosequin
and antihistomines, but then her tummy got really upset last week so I
took her off all that and put her on pepcid. I made an appointment for
today in case she wasn't eating again, so even though she was we went
and she had lost 7 oz. since last Monday! Not good, but she does seem
to be eating betternow. So we will do three more days of pepcid and
then let her be for a while. If she seems back on track, we will try a
new dry food that has cosequin right in it. But now I notice Pearl is
acting mopey, but for her, I just think she is eating too much of
Sugar's food! It's such a juggling act.

I had to take Rhett to TED tonight and she said she's been seeing a
lot of allergy symptoms lately. Mainly due to ragweed; very
seasonal. I never realized how suseptable animals are to these
allergens until Shamrock. Marley (RB) used to get a rash in the
fall, but I'd let it run it's course back then because it was only
once a year and short-lived. Rhett had a problem with a rear paw
where a couple of the pads were swollen and he was licking them all
the time this weekend. TED said it was the same thing she's been
seeing and gave him a Depo shot and said if it didn't clear up in 2
weeks she wanted to see him back. I wonder if Sugar's developing a
ragweed allergy? Do you have high ragweed counts out there about
now?

Yup. I'm pretty sure it's all the crap floating around. My sinuses are
HORRIBLE. I'm soooooo ready for the first freeze it isn't even funny!

Hugs and purrs for Sugar to feel better and get on an even keel with
her diet and meds.

Awww - more hugs for you and Sugar.  I sure hope she's feeling better ASAP.
I had great luck with the glucosamine myself and I hope that it helps her
well too.

I know what you mean. Caliban is always trying to eat Frank's and
Miranda's food. Purrs for Sugar to feel better soon.
