This morning, I woke up to find that Nina had been tirelessly
protecting me from a dangerous infestation of paper product greeblings
during the night. I had put out a new roll of toilet paper before bed
last night, and there had been a moderately full roll of paper towels
in the kitchen at the time I went to bed.
Well....Without my brave girl to protect me, who knows what might have
happened to me by morning? The TP roll bore witness to the fierceness
of her attack upon the lawless greeblings, although she hadn't actually
unrolled it. But it was rather like using a rather soft, random
pattern doily. =o)
In the kitchen, her defense had been equally fearless, as the wicked
greeblings were forced from their hiding places in the rolled up paper
towels when she courageously unrolled ALL the paper towels all over the
kitchen counter. It's those quick, decisive paws and clear young eyes
that are my surest defense. <G> I had to fool the greeblings by making
a great show of growling at Nina and re-rolling the towels so that I
could have counter space to prepare Kitty Breakfast this morning.

LOL! Fearless Nina! I'm proud to report that Miranda is just as vigilant
when it comes to TP greeblings here, but she's never attacked the
kitchen towel greeblings. Maybe we don't have them, maybe she hasn't
discovered them yet. Who knows?

Purrcident Claudius, my mama had tears in her eyes too when I jumped up one
day when she was sitting on the throne and grabbed the TP end and ran off
with it all the way to the downstairs! She was so proud of me I could hear
her yelling all the way down! I guess they are so glad we take good care of
them, eh?

(Hoomin note: it's the fresh sox laid out for the following
morning that get decimated. I've now become used to
wearing odd pairs 'cos there's so many missing. Along
with assorted small toys, combs and bottletops. The
latter 2 could well be under the frig/cooker/washing m/c
but the others are too big. Any ideas?)

I can see under that, also the armchairs, and they're clear.
But I have found one sock in C's Condo. As to the other
half-dozen and at least a dozen toys, it's a mystery all
right :-)
Maybe they've been beamed to the kittinursery on
the Mothership?
