I'm thinking of getting some more cat furniture from this company (I
think they could use the help of a professional tanslator, as well):

Scroll down the main page to see their R&D staff. ;o)

Do those names mean something that us non-Finish-speakers wouldn't
recognize?

Let's see, Karkki-melli is from karamelli (caramel). Karkki is a
nickname for sweets.
Viiru-vaapukka is more difficult to translate. Viiru means stripe.
Vaapukka I don't really know what it means, except it makes me think of
something wobbly.
Harm-iina... hmm, harm can refer either to harmaa (grey) or harmi
(trouble). Iina I guess makes it a feminine.
Sini-unelma means blue dream. Emma-Stiina is just a girl's name, sounds
a bit old-fashioned.

Not long ago, when I found out that the Finnish word for cat is "kissa", I
scooped up whichever feline happened to be within reach, Captain or
Stanley, called out, "KISS DA KISSA!!!" and gave him smooches.
Captain and Stanley both got this treatment at some point that day. They
decided that Meowmy had gone nuts. ;o) Then again, doting is a way of life
around here, so they should be used to it.
Donna, and the much-doted-on Captain and Stanley

Nice! Maybe they'll give you a discount if you help translate their
website. :)

I love their stuff. It does read like the boss' kid did the translation
while on spring break.
Still don't know that a tanslator would help. LOL
