I went off on my usual Wednesday morning CTC cycle ride meet at Tittleshall,
for the coffee morning. There's always a d*g thing there, who is cute, as
d*g things go. The d*g thing always comes to greet me when I'm there, and
makes the rounds of the people attending the coffee morning so see how many
will part with a biscuit in the direction of the d*g thing.

This morning was different. d*g thing was sitting under a nearby table when
in walked Harry. Harry is under a year old, pure white, orange eyes and is a
seriously cute Superior Life Form. Harry lives in the house opposite the
hall where the coffee morning take place. Harry stood in the doorway where
the coffee morning was being held, held his tail erect, whiskers out and
announced, "I am here, adore me. You - d*g thing - get to the back of the
room and cower." Obviously d*g thing understood because even though d*g
thing is easily ten times the size of Harry, d*g thing knew its place at
once ;-)

Then Harry looked around the room, spotted me and recognised a slave.
"You'll do." said Harry, who strutted across the floor, to the accompanying
sounds of much "oohing and ahhhing" by everyone adoring him, and he jumped
up on my lap. Harry proceeded to purr loudly, groom himself and then turned
his grooming attention on me. I am pleased to say the end of my nose has
never been cleaner ;-)

Harry is *seriously* cute!

It's a pitty you didn't have a camera with you, I'd love to see a picture of
Harry.

One of the guys there took some pics - apparently he's also a cat fan. I'll
see if I can get a hold of a pic from him. Of course, Harry, but spending a
good 20 minutes with me, prevented me from having 'just one more' choccie
biccie 'for the ride home' - so Harry is a good cat for helping me to be
nutritinally sensible ;-)

Great story!  Thank you for sharing...I could see that cat just strutting in
my mind's eye :)

What a great way to start the morning! I am still laughing at the
D-thing though.

AAAAAAWWWWWW!

Life's never too dull when a new Master can be found to come
and entwine a slave with his/her bewitchments.

Young Claudius is excellent at slave-cleaning, especially just
after he's been especially "norty" and there have been breakages.
He seems to know when tolerance is close to an end & exactly
when it's time to chill and bind his slave close.

And of course, Harry washing my nose so thoroughly undoubtedly helped with
the streamlining effect much needed on the cycle ride home into a strong
headwind ;-)
