Just curious...Soncek's name has a very Slavic ring to it, I was
wondering what it means. Reminds me of our Stosh. That's Anglicized for
the benefit of our vet and non-Polish friends, and should be spelled
"Stas." Of course, I live in Buffalo, where Polish is as natural as
breathing even to the non-Poles; and one of the vet's secretaries
immediately asked, the first day I brought Stosh (Stasiu!) in for a
checkup, which spelling we'd use!

Blessed be,
Baha

You are absolutely correct, Adrian, Soncek means Sunshine as in "You are my
sunshine, my only sunshine,..." (sorry if I gave anyone an earworm). It is
pronounced Soncheck.
Best wishes,

What a delightful name! From what I've heard of Soncek, it seems
well-chosen.

Blessed be,
Baha
