Hi All,
Just a quick question. Do you ever feel guilty when you move a cat
off your desk so you can write about that same cat on rpca?
I try not to be too much of a kitty meanie when I do move one. It's
usually Lady Jane Grey (all right, we call her Janie) but I pick her
up, put her front paws up on my shoulder, and give her some of my best
skritches before I put her down.

Oh of course! Frank always picks the time I'm typing to decide I need to kiss
him on his head. He walks on the keyboard and smashes his head up to my face.
After I've kissed him on the head about 10 times, I push him off. Then I feel
terribly guilty. :(

Amen. Since Ding returned from walkabout, he wants continuous skritching.

I never had to do that, but I have had to oust a cat from my lap so I
could come in to the computer to read and write about cats. I usually
wait until I need to make a pit stop on the way. ;-)

LMAO!!! Yup, that happens all the time. I have to ask myself, is it
in Vino's best interest that I participate in this NG???

Absolutely. In fact I'm feeling terribly guilty now as Arthur was
sitting so comfortably on my lap until I tried to check what colour his
claws were. He was not amused and jumped straight down.

I was surprised that so many slaves had to check their cat's claw
color. Everyone must have especially gentle kitties that never
unsheath their claws. :)
I know that Betty has pink/translucent claws, because I check them
every now and then, and I clip them occasionally. Also, she shows off
her claws when stretching, and she flexes them when she's relaxed.
Not to mention that she uses her claws to (gently) grab my hand when
I'm holding a treat, or something she wants to examine.
Maybe I catch these things more easily because I spend a lot of time
with Betty at eye level. We often have cuddle sessions when she's
sitting on the couch. I kneel down in front of the couch, and we kiss
and rub faces.

Hmmmmmm, well the FIRST time maybe, at that first little "hurt look" that
asks "don't you love me anymore?" By the 26th time, I'm muttering "Get
_down_, you little varmint!" Cesca and Nina usually decide to come visit me
together. When they're united in a cause, they block the monitor screen
quite efficiently. =o)
