Of my boys, especially Stinky.  No, they are not friends yet.   But
Stinky has really risen to the occasion, and has clearly decided he is
not giving up the ship.  This is still HIS house, and I am still HIS
Mommy.  Last night, they both watched TV with him, and actually both
fell asleep on the same hassock (it's a big one) where Stinky always
watches TV with me.  They also shared the window sill of the big front
room picture window-- Stinky at one end, and the kit at the other.
Stinky still hisses at the kitten (whose name is now Dante, but  I
keep calling him The Kitten) when the kitten gets up in his face--
which he does ;).  But he does not back down or run away, and he
*still* has *not* biffed the little one.  God, I love this cat.  He's
like the Jimmy Stewart of cats. ;)

Snowball writes: Go on, Stinky, give the little brute a good hiding.
You'll feel so much better. I did, and I do!

When you've settled down & in, tell us all the stories about
bending the seniors to your will that we're expecting.

Raki says "yip".

I add my welcome to Dante the newbie & wish you many,
many happy years together.

Go Stinky!  Welcome, Dante! (cool name) I still call Scarlett and
Rhett The Kittens and at a year old, Scarlett is a normal size, but
Rhett is closer to 20 pounds! I weighed him with me today. He is
just a monster Kitten. :)

I'm so proud of him too.  And I can't wait to see pictures of little Dante
too.  I love the description of "the Jimmy Stewart" of cats :-)
