Persia Doesn't Feel Good :(

She was fine early this morning.  But a while after she ate she got an upset
tummy.  She started making a sound similar to the one she makes when she's
yowling at a cat on the patio, except she wasn't near a window.  So I rushed
over to her to see why she was making that sound.  She was breathing heavily
between yowls.  Then she horked up her breakfast.  I cleaned it up and
patted her but that made her squeak.  A few minutes later she barfed again
but this time it was only bile from her stomach.  She sat crouched, making
this pitiful mewling sounds.  She panted for a few minutes with her tongue
sticking out, which I've never seen her do before.  Then she'd mew again,
softly.  She's finally stopped that (it made me feel so helpless) and has
settled down for a nap.

I know it's just an upset stomach but some purrs for Persia to feel all
better quickly would be appreciated.

Thank you.  She's already feeling better.  I've done that version of panting
and mewling over the porcelain throne; it's no fun!

Purrs for Persia. It's an odd coincidence, Snoopy was like that yesterday
afternoon. By bedtime she was feeling better, she's her normal self today.
Hopefully Persia will be back to normal in a couple of hours.

Oh good! We were just going to send purrs for you to feel better. :)
Shamrock's been horking up hairballs lately - something he NEVER
does. I think it's all the fur that grew back *finally* since he's
been so long without itchies.  Now he's got itchies again. :(

If it were me, I'd be rushing her to a vet!  Of course it
depends upon the cat - is this usual behavior when she's
"going into reverse gear" just after eating?  Mine have
never behaved like that when they were merely getting rid of
a meal that didn't set well (even less if they were trying
to cough up a hair ball).

Many purrs a-comin' for dear Persia, that she feel better, and for your nerves
to be calmed. I know how worried we katzenmutters can get!

Blessed be,
Baha
