We talked to DH's brother in Texzs City this morning. They are okay, just a lot of wind and rain. Their power was still on at 9 am eastern time Saturday. How is everyone else doing? There is a resuce named Whiskerville there that did not have the capacity to evacuate. He came through without injury or significant damage to his house (I figure that he will find some minor damage -- loose shingles and the like -- once he goes outside tomorrow).
