LO Hoolies everywhere! 2 lines seem to be emerging: either we can have a little gang for those of us born this year, true kittens, or we can widen things to a full club of current hoolies, recent but still trying hoolies and previous hoolies of any age who don't wanna let go. Can I canvas opinions please? In the meantime, here's a b*stard hoolikitty trick I've learned to play on Bandit & Snowball my 2 resident seniors: MH (My Hoomin) for reasons best known to himself sees fit to serve me with second-rate boring food, SO much inferior to that served to the seniors and even the D-pet, on the pretext that it's specially enhanced with protein, vitamins, minerals etc. to make me grow big and strong. (MH note: it's working, he's gone from 2 to 3 kilos (4.4 to 6.6 lbs) in 7 weeks!) Quiet, slave, I'm dictating. Where was I? Oh yes. So anyway, I force myself to eat about 90% of this slop in my segregated dining room then scratch at the kitchen door that I've finished and get let back in. The Seniors in the meantime have been feasting on their grown-up food, but in the misguided belief that mine's more interesting leave theirs unguarded and latch onto my leavings. That leaves me free to jump up & snarf down the HUGE quantity of good stuff they've left behind! So they get half a meal plus my leavings while I get two full meals! Neat, huh? Tomorrow I'll let you into how I get to share their food sometimes while they're actually still chowing down. Purrs Claudius, Emperor of Home Purresident- elect of the HKK or GGG. All tips & hints on being a more successful hoolie which you can pass on to us younger ones will be gratefully received. I make My Hoomin play "throw the boddelcap" all the time, an when I'm tired of that I make him play "throw the Mousie" instead. I'll give him his due, he caught on to the games pdq. Why don't we have a "broad church" Klub with chapters for the various years say from '03 onwards so the more senior cats don't feel excluded and will share their expertise with us to make us more effective hoolies? We could perhaps group our posts together by prefacing them with say "HK"? Nobody can make a rug bunch up on the floor like me! And nobody can decorate an apartment with toilet paper like me, either! Okay, I DO go after TP greeblings, but I also like the look of white ripped up snakes on da floor. It makes me look like the mighty hunter I know I am, and it scares off other kinds of Greeblings. (Which I'm very vigilant about tracking down, naturally.) Maybe the kits under one year good be da Hoolikitten Chapter, and da recent kittens under two can be da Greebling Getting Gang? There's also deman from some '03's as you can see. We can tell each other loadsa good stuff & get better in our work. Won't that be fun? Nox is WAY too Old and Stuffy to EVER be in a Hoolikitten Club even if there was one for '01, she can keep her stupid FWO Feline World Order.
