She has just brought in a large, wet, brown, dead LEAF and is eating it as I
type.

ROFL!

Some days just about everything is hilarious!

Our cats often used to bring the Great Leaf in as prey.

Ever have one bring you a cold, juicy, squirming earthworm and leave it in
your path to the potty in the night time?

When I was feeding the 13 ferals, I had a large earthworm left right at my
door several times  --- never before or since.  I figured it was a thank
you gift.   MLB

And it very probably was.  Kitty FC doesn't leave gifts, if she catches it,
she eats it and I'm sure she wouldn't waste her time on worms.  Boyfie is a
regular present giver, more often than I would like actually!   Most days
there is something to step on..
He's obviously not sure what my food preferences are so he's tried to make
his food gifts sort of wide-ranging.  Young rats, mousies, shrews, voles.
Sparrows, a chaffinch, a robin, a blackbird and quite a few collared doves
:-(  Large moths and enormous caterpillars.

All brought home and laid on the kitchen rug for my delectation and I
haven't eaten *any* of them.  What do I do to get him to stop?  He already
has two bells on his collar.  Do I have to pretend to eat them?  Surely this
would be worse, he's bound to think I'd like some more then.
