well Bono just had a bit of surgery to have one of his claws fixed, it was
hurt in the tree climbing incident  after all (chased/scared by run-away
d*gs)
he seemed ok except for sore muscles after the climbing and what not, he's
after all an apartment cat and not used to this type of "excitement"
anyway the "toe" in question stayed a bit swollen and the claw wasn't
functioning really right, even if the used the paw for running, climbing,
jumping, batting, catching and door opening and all as per normal and was in
no pain
so he had to see TED today and she at once saw that surgery was needed to
fix the claw "capsule" (it's called this in Swedish, don't have time to find
the English right now, but you know the part where the claw is fitted in
this kind of joint to the paw)
within 1 hour from the appointment time he had had his op and was ready to
go home, he is now sleeping it off in the bathroom, my parents are still
here so they are checking him, thankfully since I have a lot of stuff that
needs to be done at work today.
he's got a nice red bandage that will hopefully stay until tomorrow, he's
fixed up with antibiotics and pain killers for today and will have pills
from tomorrow, back for checkups next Friday
He should recover fully and have a new, shiny and fully functioning claw in
time =)
Thea was worried too, I went out with Bono and came back briefly without
him - while he was having the op - so she stayed well out of my way - she
clearly didn't want to be taken away and "lost" too ...
