Just got back from the vet with Phoenix. I spotted a small injury under his
right eye. The vet found bruising on his forehead too, so he got injected
with a painkiller and antibiotic eye drops just in case.

My first thought was that he had too much 'rough' with a tumble with
Memphis, however, the vet thinks something fell on him! He is an indoor cat,
so I have no idea what he has managed to do.
He is currently getting lots of sympathy, although he is acting as if
nothing has happened.

Poor baby!!! I wonder about books. They can be pretty pointy. I hope he is
better soon.

Purrs for the little guy to recover quickly. Could he have run headlong
into something, or taken a spill on the stairs?

I swear, our feline kids find more ways to worry us... I think WE need nine
lives right along with the cats! ;o)

The only thing I think may have caused it is squeezing behind a wooden
cupboard while chasing around with Memphis!
