The only non-vegetarian food in my house normally is cat food.  I have
builders in for a couple of days, and they gave Otis some of their hard
boiled egg and bacon sarnies (when he dared to venture downstairs to
check on their workmanship).  He only ate the hard boiled egg and left
the bacon!  I thought it would have been the other way round, I know he
likes egg but he's never had bacon before and I thought he'd woof it
down.  The conversation is scintillating, one of them is Chinese (and
keeps gobbing, nice) and the other is Bulgarian.  I think I'll leave
them to it and go out for the afternoon, it's a bit embarassing as
they're working in the bathroom and I have to do sign language when I
need the lav.

LOL! Maybe the bacon was too salty for Otis anyway. In spite of their
communication probs, I hope the builders do a nice job.
